My Story and Mission

After I was diagnosed with cancer myself, and needed to go through treatment, I experienced firsthand what my patients had been going through. Through my experiences as a survivor, I aim to provide valuable insights and support for others facing cancer challenges. Part of my outreach was starting a YouTube channel to bring the information to a wider audience. I hope you find it useful.

I am a Board Certified Medical Oncologist. I recently retired after treating Cancer Patients for almost thirty years. I have worked in the Boston, MA area hospitals in both community settings and referral centers. Besides being involved in clinical trials I have also volunteered with a non profit foundation which is furthering innovative treatments in Cancer Care. In addition to my patient practice, I have helped many friends and relatives navigate their cancer journey, as their cancer treatment coach.

While internet searches yield a lot of information, it is difficult to know what applies to your particular situation. The meaning of the words is difficult to understand. My patients would come for their first visit, very anxious as a result of their google searches. I started this website to demystify the the process of treatment. My patients inspired me to write a book, "Diagnosis Cancer! What happens next?" Many patients and families have told me that the information in this book made their journey easier.
